Mytilidae: Modiolatus victoriae (Pritchard & Gatliff, 1903) (‘Victorian horse-mussel’)

Typical shell-length 37 mm. Lives subtidally. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (TAS and VIC). In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known only from waters around the Kent Group.
