Typical shell-length 4.0 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS and VIC). In Tasmanian waters, this is probably a widespread species but its presence in the State has previously been overlooked
