Trochidae – Trochinae: Notogibbula bicarinata (A. Adams, 1854) (‘Cox’s top-shell’)
Synonym(s): bicarinata A. Adams, 1854 coxi Angas, 1867.
Typical shell-length 9.0 mm. Lives subtidally amongst seagrass in sheltered environments. Native. Endemic to southern and eastern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC and SA). In Tasmanian waters, this is an uncommon species, confined to the N coast and Bass Strait islands.
