Trochidae – Trochinae: Notogibbula preissiana (Philippi, 1848) (‘Preissian top-shell’)

Synonym(s): preissiana Philippi, 1849 porcellana A. Adams, 1853 weldii Tenison-Woods, 1877.
Typical shell-length 7.0 mm. Lives intertidally and subtidally amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
