Trochidae – Cantharidinae: Phasianotrochus apicinus (Menke, 1843) (‘pointed kelp-shell’)
Synonym(s): apicinus Menke, 1843 ornatus Tenison-Woods, 1876.
Typical shell-length 20 mm. Lives subtidally amongst seaweed, especially brown macroalgae. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
