Philobryidae: Philobrya crenatulifera (Tate, 1892) (‘scalloped micromussel’)

Synonym(s): crenatulifera Tate, 1892 subpurpurea May, 1923.

Typical shell-length 2.2 mm. Lives subtidally in crevices amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this is a widespread and common species.
