Muricidae – Muricinae: Phyllocoma (Galfridus) eburnea (Petterd, 1884) (‘ivory murex’)
Synonym(s): eburnea Petterd, 1884.
Typical shell-length 15 mm. Beached shells often worn. Lives subtidally amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (TAS, VIC and SA). In Tasmanian waters, this is a very uncommon species, found chiefly along the NW coast.
