Limapontiidae: Placida dendritica (Alder & Hancock, 1843) (‘dendritic sea-slug’)
Synonym(s): dendritica Alder & Hancock, 1843.
Typical body-length 12 mm. Lives intertidally and subtidally amongst seaweed, specifically Codium fragile, on which it feeds. Native. Occurs in southeastern and southwestern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA); closely-related taxa widespread in temperate zones of both hemispheres.
