Polyceridae – Polycerinae: Polycera hedgpethi Er. Marcus, 1964 (‘Hedgpeth’s sea-slug’)

Synonym(s): hedgpethi Marcus, 1964.
Typical body-length 20 mm. Lives subtidally on bryozoans, particularly Bugula species, on which it feeds. Non-native. Occurs in southeastern and southwestern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA); also widespread elsewhere.
