Poromyidae – Poromyinae: Poromya (Poromya) illevis Hedley, 1913 (‘heavy spoon-shell’)

Synonym(s): illevis Hedley, 1913 granulata Tate, 1892 (non Nyst & Westendorp, 1839).
Typical shell-length 19 mm. Lives in offshore waters in sand and mud. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
