Rissoidae: Powellisetia TAS sp 01 (‘TAS sp 01 rice-shell’)

Typical shell-length 1.0 mm. Lives in offshore waters. Native. Occurs in southeastern Australia (TAS and perhaps other states). In Tasmanian waters, this apparently undescribed species has been found in deep waters off the East coast.
