Cerithiopsidae – Cerithiopsinae: Prolixodens cessicus (Hedley, 1906) (‘stopped false-creeper’)

Synonym(s): cessicus Hedley, 1906 minimum Tenison-Woods, 1878.

Typical shell-length 4.0 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore on sand. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
