Cystiscidae – Granulininae: Pugnus parvus Hedley, 1896 (‘small margin-shell’)

Synonym(s): parvus Hedley, 1896.
Typical shell-length 1.5 mm. Subsurface granulations and striations more apparent on worn shells than on fresh ones. Lives in offshore waters in sand and mud. Native. Occurs in eastern Australia (QLD, NSW and TAS); also New Zealand.
