Cerithiopsidae – Seilinae: Seila crocea (Angas, 1871) (‘yellow false-creeper’)

Synonym(s): crocea Angas, 1871 cereum Sowerby, 1855 atkinsoni Tenison-Woods, 1876 johnstoni Petterd, 1884 marmorea Odhner, 1917.
Typical shell-length 23 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore amongst sponges. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
