Ischnochitonidae – Ischnochitoninae: Stenochiton longicymba (Blainville, 1825) (‘long seagrass-chiton’)
Synonym(s): longicymba Blainville, 1825.
Typical shell-length 45 mm. Lives subtidally amongst seagrass, specifically attached to the lower leaf-sheaths of Posidonia australis. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
