Cancellariidae – Cancellariinae: Sydaphera undulata (G. B. Sowerby II, 1849) (‘wavy nutmeg-shell’)
Synonym(s): undulata Sowerby, 1849 renovata Iredale, 1929 obnixa Iredale, 1936 deliciosa Iredale, 1955.
Typical shell-length 60 mm. Lives subtidally amongst seaweed and seagrass. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this is a rare species, only recorded from the N coast and Bass Strait islands.
