Pyramidellidae – Syrnolinae: Syrnola convexa Laseron, 1951 (‘convex pyramid-shell’)

Synonym(s): convexa Laseron, 1951 proletare Laseron, 1951.
Typical shell-length 8.0 mm. Lives subtidally as an ectoparasite of other invertebrates. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia(NSW and TAS). In Tasmanian waters, this species is currently known only from a single record from off the east coast.
