Synonym(s): navalis Linnaeus, 1758 pocilliformis Roch, 1931 austini Iredale, 1932.
Typical shell-length 6.0 mm. Lives intertidally and subtidally embedded in wood. Native. Occurs all around Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA, WA and NT); not recorded elsewhere.
