Borsoniidae: Tomopleura dilecta (Hedley, 1903) (‘beloved turrid’)

Synonym(s): dilecta Hedley, 1903.
Typical shell-length 7.0 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS and SA). There are as yet no confirmed records of this species in Tasmanian waters, although its presence here would not be surprising.
