Mytilidae: Trichomya hirsuta (Lamarck, 1819) (‘hairy mussel’)

Typical shell-length 55 mm. Lives subtidally amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Endemic to southern and eastern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC and SA).
