Trimusculidae: Trimusculus conicus (Angas, 1867) (‘conical lung-limpet’)

Synonym(s): conicus Angas, 1864 pentagonostoma Angas, 1867 angasi Dall, 1870 albida Angas, 1878 nivea Hutton, 1878.

Typical shell-length 12 mm. Lives intertidally attached to rocks in exposed environments. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (QLD, NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this species is found mostly in the E.
