Synonym(s): ephamillus Watson, 1882 dipsacoides Hedley, 1907.
Typical shell-length 16 mm. Lives in offshore waters. Native. Occurs in southeastern and southwestern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA); also New Zealand.
