Glycymerididae: Tucetona sordida (Tate, 1891) (‘dirty dog-cockle’)

Synonym(s): sordida Tate, 1891 insignis Pilsbry, 1906.
Typical shell-length 25 mm. Lives subtidally and offshore in sand. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
