Turbinidae: Turbo (Euninella) gruneri Philippi, 1846 (‘Gruner’s turban’)
Synonym(s): gruneri Philippi, 1846 circularis Reeve, 1848.
Typical shell-length 35 mm. Illustrated shell is subadult. Lives subtidally amongst seagrass. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (TAS, VIC, SA and WA). In Tasmanian waters, this is a rare species largely confined to the N coast and Bass Strait islands but has also been found, by diving, off the SE coast.
