Pyramidellidae – Turbonillinae: Turbonilla kitcheni (Laseron, 1951) (‘Kitchen’s pyramid-shell’)
Synonym(s): kitcheni Laseron, 1951.
Typical shell-length 6.0 mm. Lives subtidally as an ectoparasite of other invertebrates. Native. Occurs in southeastern Australia (NSW and TAS); also elsewhere in the Indo-Pacific. In Tasmanian waters, this species has been recorded from a single locality on Flinders Island.
