Synonym(s): tasmanica Tenison-Woods, 1876 crenulifera Tate, 1892 scalarina Henn & Brazier, 1894.
Typical shell-length 4.0 mm. Lives subtidally as an ectoparasite of other invertebrates. Native. Endemic to southeastern Australia (NSW, TAS and SA).
