Chromodorididae: Verconia verconis (Basedow & Hedley, 1905) (‘Verco sea-slug’)

Synonym(s): verconis Basedow & Hedley, 1905.
Typical body-length 60 mm. Lives subtidally on sponges, specifically the pink Aplysilla rosea, on which it feeds. Native. Endemic to southeastern and southwestern Australia (NSW, TAS, VIC, SA and WA).
