Columbellidae – Atiliinae: Zafra smithi (Angas, 1877) (‘Smith’s dove-shell’)
Synonym(s): smithi Angas, 1877.
Typical shell-length 4.0 mm. Lives intertidally amongst rocks and seaweed. Native. Occurs in eastern Australia (QLD, NSW and TAS); also elsewhere in the Indo-West Pacific. There are as yet no confirmed records of this species in Tasmanian waters, although its presence here would not be surprising.
